Key Challenges
Our customer produces, processes and distributes flat glass for the building industry (external glazing and interior decorative glass), the automotive industry (OEM and replacement glass) and various other sectors (transport, solar power and high-tech applications).
Having to work for the automotive industry, they received a request from one of the biggest German car manufacturers to comply with the necessary TISAX maturity level for their European administrative headquarters.
To meet the correct maturity level, assessed by an external certification body, our client was looking for effective consulting, guidance, coaching and awareness.
Our Approach
To meet the customer’s needs, we defined 5 stages.
Stage 1: Orientation
Together with the management team, we looked at how we could achieve the optimal integration of information security objectives. We identified the team members within this project and their availabilities to contribute.
Stage 2: Analysis
The TISAX context can be quite extensive. Thus, a full analysis was required to fully understand the information security landscape.
Stage 3: Document
During this phase we closely mapped the TISAX information security assessment with the new created documents, technical implementations. That’s why we had a complete filled out assessment ready for an external TISAX plausibility check or on-site inspection by an approved audit provider based on their self-assessment,
Stage 4: Implementation
Procedures, work instructions and technical solutions that have been approved are immediately implemented.
Benefits
Using our approach, we delivered the maximum of support in the shortest possible timeframe. This resulted in a cost-effective solution with a high pass rate on the plausibility check or on-site inspection.
