Context and Challenges
During this project, we had the opportunity to provide support to a client offering employee savings and retirement solutions. In addition to its savings offer, the company provides a simple and intuitive platform to manage operations. This client required technical support to optimize the administration and use of Jira Cloud. The objectives were as follows:
- Harmonizing and improving the different schemes and applying them to all projects,
- Facilitating the management of user rights,
- Improving the collaboration of teams and setting up reporting,
- Automating different actions,
- Adding new functionalities with plugins.
Our approach
The Atlassian / Agile Delivery Center team applied their expertise by advising on the administration of the company’s Jira Cloud instance. This intervention was divided into 5 stages:
- Audit on the use of the Jira tool: identification of difficulties, proposals for improvements, exchanges with various key teams, etc.
- Presentation of a backlog of recommendations
- Implementation of the prioritized backlog
- Organization of customer workshops to specify in details the different needs
- Presentation of the backlog achievements
Benefits
This project allowed our team to facilitate and secure the administration of the Jira Cloud tool. In addition, the tool’s maintenance was optimized. Positive Thinking Company’s intervention also helped accelerate the creation of the client’s next project. Through the reporting system and boards set up, collaboration between teams has improved. Finally, our client benefited from training and the sharing of best practices, thus gaining in autonomy.
