Key challenges
Our client is a renowned public transportation company of one of the European cities with the highest traffic volumes. This major customer operates an extensive network of tramways, trolley buses and buses.
Every year, around 25’000 events occur on its network. Events can be accidents, incidents, disruptions etc.
Our main challenge was to help our client managing in real-time those events, and improve collaboration and follow-up related to these events between all the departments concerned and involved.
Our approach
We implemented a solution based on Angular 7 / .NET Framework that enables quick and easy inputs of events into the application, followed by the monitoring and improvement of the events’ content by all relevant departments through a tailor-made rights management system.
Each department has access to a custom dashboard, offering lists of events on which they have to work or do a follow-up.
A tasks and comments system helps with the communication between the departments on each event. Finally, a document management system makes sharing document between users efficient and simple.

Every employee has access to the application and can see and interact with what its level of privilege allows.
The application that we developed and deployed ensures better data quality, thanks to custom forms and limited rights on edition, and also simplifies the communication between departments, reducing emails and phone calls.
