Modernizing the global corporate payment portal for American Express

Key Challenges

Our mission was to manage AMEX’s Global Corporate Payment (GCP) portal, which provides corporate card services for enterprise, small business and merchant clients. We were asked to leverage our international experience to provide backend development and content management services for their GCP platform.

Our Approach

Working with global marketing and content teams from the US, Europe, Japan, and other major markets, we worked to enhance the GCP customer experience by creating a responsive, mobile friendly site.  Our team ensured site consistency from market to market, launching global campaigns, handling content updates, delivery of feature enhancements, as well as site optimizations for desktop and mobile taking into account a wide variety of devices and network bandwidth environments for each market.

Benefits

Through the upgrade of Sitecore from version 6.6 to 8.0, additional customer profiling and business intelligence features were added as well as significantly improving site performance. Also, through a JIRA-based content management workflow mapped to industry-leading quality and response KPIs, Positive Thinking Company also served as their centralized, global platform management team.
