Context and Challenges
Created by our client in 2017, this digital division is an entity in charge of developing applications and software for the group’s various businesses.
Bringing together nearly 300 innovative profiles (developers, architects, engineers/scientists/data analysts, UX designers, but also scrum masters and coaches), the entity facilitates the life of all its employees by delivering agile projects related to the Internet of Things, Big Data, artificial intelligence and internal software development.
This fresh new entity decided to change its strategy by making all its businesses more agile.
In this context, our client had to make a technical upgrade to one of its tools because the version of the language used was no longer going to be maintained.
Its stakeholders decided to take advantage of this obligation to redesign this application. Our teams of Agile experts have been sollicited to accompany the project team to prepare and lead a seminar and team coaching with Key Users. The objectives were as follows:
- Definition of the users
- Definition of the life cycle of the application and the users
- Identification of difficulties that should not be repeated for the future application
- Improvement of the application interface
Our approach
Our Agile experts helped our client’s Digital teams by working on the following 4 aspects:
- Team Coaching of the PO (Product Owners) and business teams
- Preparing / leading a 3-day design thinking seminar (definition of personas, user journey, pain-points, story mapping, mock-up).
- Presenting agile methods to Key Users who are operational business people.
- Dynamising the seminar in order to achieve the objectives
