Key challenges
Our client is a European non-profit organization. It represents parties that are concerned with securing the legal supply chain against falsified medicines.
Our teams previously assisted this client with the development of their new web platform. Improving the ticketing and new client onboarding process was the goal. This has made it easier for pharmaceutical company users to communicate with our client’s support team.
Following this project, our client requested that our teams assist them with testing three products, including this web platform.
This new project’s objective was to:
- Achieve full transparency in the test results and documentation in order to pass audits. Comply with a comprehensive internal quality assurance process, as well as lengthy audits, as required in the health sector.
- Optimize and modernize their manual testing by integrating some automation.
Our Approach
For more than two years, we have worked to modernize our client’s testing activities.
- Our teams’ level of control over our client’s internal validation process (V-cycle) enabled them to optimize their manual test plans. This has also allowed the risk of error associated with this technique to be reduced.
- In a subsequent step, we modernized their test activities over the last six months by incorporating test automation on two projects. All automated test cases are linked to and documented in a test management tool. This maintains a functional view of what is running and generates automated test case templates.
Benefits
Our client has seen the following benefits as a result of this project, thanks to the efforts of our testing teams:
- Increased transparency as a result of thorough documentation that meets the criteria required to pass audits (videos, documentation, and reports)
- Optimized and modernized internal manual testing
- Time savings on digital product delivery due to the automation of 70% of testing activities
