Popular live video streaming service, Twitch has more than 30 millions daily users and 8 millions active streamers each month.
Originally focused on live streaming video games, many other areas have become popular on the platform. This is particularly the case for the ‘Science and Technology’ or ‘Just Chatting’ categories, which bring together streamers from different universes and professions, who speak on many themes, including Tech.
Indeed, during successive lockdowns and the cancellation of many face-to-face events, several actors have developed online events.
Other streamers, already known on other platforms such as Youtube, are also now positioning themselves on Twitch to diversify their formats and media of expression. They take the opportunity to discover a new audience, develop new topics, renew themselves and also and above all have more interactions with listeners.
In both cases, the addition of this new meeting place finally became complementary to the existing one.
And for others, expressing themself on Twitch is simply an easy way to speak up and engage in knowledge sharing from home.
Among these many accounts and types of actors, it can be tedious to identify those that are likely to interest you.
To help you find your way through the many existing accounts, we have selected a non-exhaustive list of Tech accounts to follow, to do your watch or simply have a good time.
They address Tech news as a whole, but also sometimes more specifically web and mobile development, data, web design and the product universe, computer security or hardware.
